The Wooden Valley Winery is a boutique winery located in Fairfield, California. The Wooden Valley Winery produces around 1,500 cases of wine every year and was established in 1948.
The Wooden Valley Winery offers free wine tasting to all visitors and usually runs three wines daily for tasting: one white, one red, and one sparkling. Visitors can also purchase bottles of the Wooden Valley jewelry box wines on-site or take home a case if they prefer (must be purchased at least 48 hours prior).
Visitors should check out the events calendar before planning their visit as it often includes live music performances and food truck gatherings. If you plan your trip properly by checking ahead there is a good chance that you will enjoy great company, a lovely atmosphere, and a fun experience.
Wooden Valley Winery is open daily from 11:00 am – 5:30 pm. No reservations are required for wine tasting or purchasing. The winery closes the last week of December and re-opens in early January during the winter holiday season.
The Wooden Valley Winery is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. The winery is closed on January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day. They are also not open on weekends in December.
The Wooden Valley Winery offers wine tastings for free to all visitors ages twenty-one and older with a valid ID. Also, they provide wine glasses at no additional cost for use during the tasting experience. Although it has no seating area or food service, guests are welcome to bring picnics on their visit if desired.
Visitors can also purchase a wine tasting and tour package for $20, which includes the wine tasting, a souvenir glass, and a park map.
